Join us for a flight in our WW II North American AT-6 "Texan" fighter trainer or Great Lakes Biplane. Weather permitting flights are flown on weekdays.

Rides are scheduled after the flight certificate has been purchased. Weather permitting, flights are available by appointment, Monday through Friday. Due to increased air activity at the Winchester Airport, including student training flights and glider operations, weekend flights are no longer practical.  Guest pilots for the AT-6 should be under 6'6" tall and under 250 lbs. Guest pilots for the Great Lakes Biplane should be under 6' tall and under 200 lbs.

On rides 30 minutes or longer, the guest pilot will have an opportunity to fly the aircraft under the supervision and guidance of the Fighter Command pilot. Also, your Fighter Command pilot will demonstrate a series of aerobatic maneuvers If the guest pilot wishes. We are very conservative in our aerobatics to ensure our guest pilots' comfort and will check after each maneuver that he or she is comfortable.

Fighter Command also offers, as an option, an onboard video tape of your flight. We have a camera mounted on the tail which looks forward over the canopy and a camera on the dash which looks back at you. You control the cameras using a two position switch and a color monitor located in the cockpit.

For more information please call (800) 809-5482.
